New Crew Program 2011
Have you ever wanted to learn how to sail, or perhaps join our yacht Racing program by crewing on one of the boats?
If so, the Thunder Bay Yacht Club invites you to learn the basics of sailing and what it takes to become a crew-member on one of the more than 30 sailboats that you enjoy watching in the harbour on those hot summer evenings. This introduction to sailing offers four in-class sessions as well as four on-the-water sessions aboard one of our participating keelboats.
The program is being offered during the weekends of June 11th/12th and June 18th/19th. The indoor classroom portion of the program will be held at the West Thunder Community Centre, 915 S. Edward Street, whereas the on-boat portion will be via the Prince Arthurs Landing Marina.
9:00-12:00: In-class session
13:00-15:30: On the water
Cost: $155 -All Four Sessions (Includes TBYC Social Membership and HST)
Registrations will be accepted starting April 26, 2011
